School Leadership and Inclusion
This PD resource is intended to support administrators and school leaders with creating inclusive environments. Inclusion is about creating appropriate learning environments and opportunities so that students can reach their full potential in their school community. To lead this transformation, it is not only important that teachers develop skills and understand techniques that can support the development of an inclusive learning environment – it is important that school leaders are able to support teachers as they continue to build their capacity.
The video, tip sheet and learning guide are designed for use by Professional Learning Communities, instructional/learning coaches, teacher-leaders or as a self-paced study to enhance and support instruction, conversation and critical reflection about creating inclusive learning environments. The tip sheets include an overview of key concepts. The learning guide is intended to "continue the conversation" after viewing the video.
