Instructional Coaching: Kansas Coaching Project
Jim Knight is a research associate and the leader of the instructional coaching project at the University of Kansas. This website includes multiple resources, research summaries and video archives focused on supporting implementation of instructional coaching. Instructional coaching is focused on supporting educators in their use of proven teaching methods. The instructional coaching intent includes a focus on the “big four”; classroom management, content planning, instruction, and assessment for learning with multiple free resources available for downloading. This site also includes interactive opportunities to discuss with Jim about strategies and approaches to implement instructional coaching.
